Energie AG Oberösterreich has developed and successfully implemented a “Financial Leadership Program” together with Contrast Management Consulting. Today we are proud to operate a modern value based management system on a strategic as well as an operative level. Accordingly we operate a target system that is based on competition and capital market benchmarks. Hence, the reporting system was streamlined and refocused on the value based system. In addition the operation was accelerated through a fast close process significantly. Consequently, the investment management was refocused to be tied to value adding indicators and the toolbox was extended. Overall the project has increased entrepreneurship, transparency, speed, leadership methods and decision quality throughout our company significantly.

The Verbund corporation managed together with the work of Contrast to streamline planning and budgeting systems on a group wide basis. Our new highly automated planning system integrates a combination of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow calculations for forecasting as well as monitoring. Trough this for every entity in the group a particular planning according to IFRS and UGB standards is provided. The solution which is based on SAP BW-IP  enhances the quality of planning data and forecasts as well as budgeting and mid term planning with a reduced demand of resources. This results in a better achievement in meeting the requirements in terms of time pressure in the reporting and planning processes.  Contrast satisfied us through a high degree of loyalty and commitment as well as a very professional solution provider for ongoing challenges.
