The decision of the merger between the two ÖBB infrastructure divisions and the consequent restructuring of internal interfaces and links facilitated a dramatic change in organizational structure respectively the design of a new organizational structure. In this labor intensive time Contrast Management-Consulting was a precious and highly qualified partner  for  ÖBB-Infrastruktur in regards to the overall project coordination and the project management. The consultants of Contrast supported our top management with valuable input for the design of management tools and the structured project and program implementation as well as the contribution of substantial knowledge for a enhancement of general efficiency of the company.  The merger of ÖBB-Infrastruktur Bau (Construction) and ÖBB-Infrastruktur Betrieb (Operations) and the resulting of a modern efficient corporation namely the new ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG were completed successfully due to a major contribution of Contrast.
